About CoderCo

CoderCo started with engineers helping other engineers.

What started as a community of engineers learning, sharing and helping each other into tech has grown into CoderCo, a community, an Academy and a talent network built around real engineering experience.

Murrad, Mo and Abz, the founders of CoderCo

The story

Before CoderCo, there was Deengineers.

2021

Deengineers begins

Abz started Deengineers, a non-profit community built around a simple idea: engineers helping engineers. It began around people learning cloud and DevOps, studying together and sharing what they knew.

2023

2,700+ members

The community grew organically, people already in the industry helping people trying to get in, one conversation at a time. By the end of 2023, more than 2,700 people were part of it.

2024

CoderCo launches

The community kept growing. So did the ambition. CoderCo launched, and the Academy introduced a more structured route, deeper technical training, real projects, live support and career development.

Today

3,000+ and still growing

The community has kept growing from there. But the original principle hasn't moved: experienced engineers helping other people become better engineers.

The name changed. The reason we do it didn't.

The founders

Engineers first.

CoderCo wasn't created by people who studied the tech industry from the outside. It was built by engineers working in it.

Why we do it

We care where you end up.

This isn't about handing someone a library of videos and wishing them luck. It's whether people understand what they're learning, can actually build with it, can explain their work, and can turn that into a career.

01

We teach what we actually use.

The curriculum comes from engineers working with these technologies in real environments.

02

We don't disappear after the lesson.

Live sessions, community, questions, troubleshooting and support are part of the experience.

03

We genuinely care where you end up.

The goal isn't course completion. It's helping people become capable, confident engineers.

The team

A growing team behind the community.

CoderCo has grown into a team spanning operations, sales, recruitment, engineering, automations, content, community and more. Different roles, same reason for being here: we genuinely care about helping people build better careers in tech.

The community

3,000+ people. Still one community.

CoderCo isn't just the founders teaching an audience. Members learn together, ask questions, troubleshoot each other's problems, share opportunities, turn up to live sessions, and support the people coming up behind them.
